Mercury at Twilight (Planetary Parade)
Friday, 28 February 2025
17:30-18:30
From the park, it might be possible to see the elusive planet Mercury in the twilight glow after the sun sets at 17:40.
Despite what you may hear in the media, it is going to be incredibly difficult to see Saturn as it'll be positioned very low on the horizon and it will appear very faint against the bright twilight sky.
Nonetheless, Team TRAC will head out to see how many planets we can observe in a single night!

Success here is far from guaranteed. We may stand a better chance of seeing Mercury during the first week of March 2025.
