Share Your Astro Photos
We'd love to see your astronomy photos! Perhaps you've captured the perfect sunset, a wide-angle shot of a beautiful starry sky, or a serene celestial object like the Moon or even a planet.
We're on the lookout for night sky photos taken in Rainham, Kent or the surrounding area to showcase on our website.
Send your best astronomical photos to the email address below.
Please include the following details in your email:
- Your name (as you wish it to appear as an image credit)
- Date and time the photo was taken (your best estimate is fine)
- Where the photo was taken
- A brief description of the object/scene etc
- Any technical details or other information of interest (e.g. phone or camera equipment)
The maximum attachment size we can process is 64 MB per email, but your mail provider may have a lower limit. For example, the max attachment size for Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and Outlook (Microsoft) is 25 MB. If you're sending lots of photos, it's best to send them as separate emails to avoid exceeding these limits.
Please note that we're not able to receive zipped/compressed folders (.zip/.tar files).
We accept images in the following file formats:
- JPEG
- HEIF/HEIC
- TIFF
- RAW
- PNG
- BMP
